Who we are

McNeil Farms, LLC was founded by Shane McCurdy and Jessica Neil in Jan 2025 in Durham, NC.

It was born of a love of fresh food and a realization that so much more flavor can be enticed off the vine then is offered in the grocery store.

Mushrooms began as a hobby and developed into a small business as a way to eat healthier and take advantage of all the varieties that mushrooms have to offer, not only as a fantastic source of nutrients but also as a satisfying meat alternative, or as a complement to your favorite meat dish.

The herbs naturally followed to season these wonderful dishes to the peak of perfection.

With the rising prices in the grocery store, it just makes sense for us to share our bountiful harvest with the community. We stay competitive by growing everything onsite, keeping distribution local, and understanding that every table should have access to flavorful ingredients.
